Hi, I'm Guido from Italy. I have the Asus monitor PW201 and I don't find your driver. From the Asus site, I have downloaded Driver for W7 64 bit : LifeFrame 2 and LifeFrame 3.
But it don't work.
My webcam is off.......
Have you find anything for your problem ? Thanks for your reply.
Sorry for my english ;(
You do not need driver i surpose. The problem exactly is with your video card which does not support this 1440x900 mode. I've saw this problem with internal video cards but on NVidia it is working perfect. So try to look for updated video card drivers.
Hope this solves your problem same I met before. There are a lot of queries it may involve here to streamline the problem. Well, first try to reset the monitor setting manually in OSD mode, then select different frequencies there and try each. To much with your PC video card frequency try changing the video adapter frequency properties on PC GUID or operating system video card panel. Try lower frequency first..
If the problem persist, like you've said it changes back to default setting when pressing the monitor setting buttons, there must be some problem in the circuit board of the monitor it cannot hold the frequency settings due to cold solder on control processor section and buttons. Other major defect is the CMOS chip to hold the settings and or bad caps.
