1 Answer

Sony KDL-20s2030 Put the TV on tonight and did not get any of th freeview channels. Also noticed that the automatic date stated Wednesday 20/05/2008. On trying to retune it is now stating that there is no digital signal strength. i have another Digital TV which I have plugged into the same point and that seems fine. Any ideas?

I'm having similar problem with Sony Bravia KDL-15G200 LCD TV. I have lost a number of digital channels which are on four of the six multiplex channels transmitted from the local transmitter. Originally the set received all freeview digital channels and other sets in the house still receive all channels from the same aerial. It has been suggested that the TV be reset to factory or shipping settings and then restarted but I have no instructions as to how this could be achieved.

Just go to your TV settings and just do a full reinstall ,like the day you brought your TV ,below is from the web site your tv will work hope this will help.
The Freeview TV guide is being updated on Wednesday, 3 September 2014 to create extra capacity for new services. As a result, Children's and News channels will move to new channel numbers.
• The Children's genre will move from channel numbers in the 70s to start at 120
• The News genre will move from channel numbers in the 80s to start at 130
To update their guide viewers simply need to retune their Freeview TVs and digital recorders or boxes where equipment does not pick up the changes automatically. On-screen messages will prompt viewers to retune late afternoon 3 September 2014 onwards.
Viewers who don't retune will not lose channels - services will remain accessible at their old numbers. However, Digital UK and Freeview recommend viewers retune from time-to-time to ensure they have access to all available services in their area.

Hello, I have problem with Sony KDL-32U2000. Text doesn't work anymore. It is not kind of problem when I on some channels get message "no text available". When I push green text button on remote...

Just a guess, I suspect it is because you are now on the freeview channels which don't carry text in the same way. Has it by any chance happened since analogue transmissions ceased in your area?

How do you connect bt vision to a sony bravia kdl 37v4000.I have it working ok on freeview only but the bt vision appears on analogue channel 6 and the vision remote changes the tele channel not the vision...

Sounds like you cant have set up the scart cables properly. Im unimpressed with BT for not setting it up for you, why didn't they?
Plus you will not need the freeview box if you have BT Vision, so i would take out the freeview box and just connect one end of the Scart lead into the back of the BT Vison box then put the other side of the lead to the Back of the TVs scart socket. Then all you need to do now if change the channel to AV1 OR AV2 or whatever channel you have.
