Looking for details on an ipod bought 12/9/06 malfuntioning. was purchased with 2 year replacement plan. how do I procede with this.

How does Walmart's two year replacement plan for sewing machines work?


Basically, the plan works from the moment you purchase it until two years is up.
If at any point within those two years, any part in your sewing machine breaks, you are entitled to a reimbusement for the full price you purchased it for, including tax.

I dropped my ipod touch and it now has a chip on the side and a crack running across the screen. I purchased the 2 year product replacement care plan. How do I get it replaced?


if your plan covers the screen being dropped then get your papers together and take the ipod to the apple store they might take it and repair it / replace it ...good luck

no, replacement plans never cover anything that is stolen. if you registered your iPod with Apple and the serial number comes up from a pawn shop, then you can rightfully reclaim your property. if you did not, then you are unfortunately SOL.

The service plan that you purchased allows you to get your iPod repaired if it has a hardware failure during the lifetime of the service plan. You can take the unit into your local Best Buy store to get service.

You may also qualify for our rapid exchange program. If your local Best Buy store determines that the item is defective they can have a refurbished iPod drop-shipped to you as an exchange. You can ask the store for more details.

Hey maddie13,

Unfortunately, Best Buy Product Replacement Plans (PRP's) only include coverage for hardware failures and manufacturer defects. If your iPod has been lost or stolen, we would be unable to provide you with a replacement.

If you would like however, your local Best Buy™ store should be able to cancel your current PRP coverage and provide you with a pro-rated refund for its cancellation. To do so, you would simply need to bring a copy of your original store receipt to the service desk to your local store and request to have your PRP cancelled/returned.
