You are going to have to remove the spray bars and the filter at the top of the pump housing to see if something is stuck in the pump

There is a loud noise while going through final stages of wash. Sounds like pump motor whineing.

Hello

When an appliance such as a dishwasher starts making a new noise, you need to isolate the cause of the noise so that you know whether or not it is damaging the machine. Several things can cause a noisy dishwasher.

Motor

Dishwashers are driven by an internal motor that gets quite noisy when defective. The problem occurs when a seal breaks down and allows water to access the bearings in the motor, removing the grease needed for proper lubrication and creating a loud motor noise when the dishwasher runs. The seal or bearings need to be replaced in this situation quickly or more extensive damage to the motor may occur.

Inlet Valve

If the inlet valve on your dishwasher is broken or breaking, you will hear a distinctive thumping or clattering noise whenever a load is run. A thumping noise doesn't always indicate this problem, however, depending on when you hear it. If you hear a noise like this when the water is filling up the dishwasher at the start of the cycle, the noise likely points to an inlet valve problem.

Squealing

A high-pitched squealing noise is an indication that something is wrong with the fan. Fan bearings that are worn out indicate that the fan apparatus needs to be replaced. If the noise you're hearing is in fact coming from the fan, it will only occur when the dishwasher is drying the dishes. Dishwashers use a fan to generate and distribute heat to dry the dishes quickly.

Minor Concerns

Sometimes even a minor concern can cause a great deal of noise. The thing to watch for is whether or not the noise repeats itself on multiple loads. A loud noise on a single load that doesn't repeat could be caused by things like a loose utensil or small implement rattling around loose in the dishwasher. Also inspect the bottom of your dishwasher. Hardened bits of old food can become rock hard under the heat in the dishwasher and cause noise when the unit runs.

There is still water on the dishes and in the dishwasher after the heated drying cycle. Not a lot but enough to wet the kitchen floor. What can we do?

check the kitchen drain is clear - looks like the drain cycle is not working efficiently.

Also make sure the filters at the base of dishwasher are clear.

Try a short cycle (like rinse only) and see if water drains at the end. If problem is occuring only during the normal wash cycle, then drying fan may be the problem.

Not sure if you have got a user manual for this dishwasher. You can download one from this site.

You have a flood situation inside the dishwasher. See page 12 of the manual. There may be no water at the bottom of the machine but there is some overfill occuring. Also see error codes on page 13. This can be either because the flood detection circuit is faulty and giving false trigger or there is water in the base of the dishwasher housing due to leaking door gasket or hoses.

Some things to try. Turn mains power off and back on and see if there is any difference.
If not, then turn power off and pull dishwasher out from the kitchen benchtop. Put a few towels on the floor and tilt the dishwasher side to side on the base and see if any water comes out. Wait 5-6 minutes and turn power back on. See if it makes any difference.

Hi Tom, welcome to Fixya. The issue is likely just the blower and housing drain hose blocked with "crude" from time & use. If you take the door panel off ( watch those edges they are VERY sharp ) and unfasten the control panel as well then unscrew the round part surrounding the vent fan inside the door ( it turns about 1/4 turn counter-clockwise ) the fan motor assembly can be pulled off the door and cleaned out. You can also remove the small rubber drain line from the fan to the tub which is routed inside the door panel & clean it out as it too gets plugged hence, not allowing the condensation to run back into the tub to be pumped out so when you open the door it pours onto your floor. Hope you find that helpful. Let me know how you make out or if you require further assistance. Thanks for visiting "fixya" for your repair questions. Please take a moment and rate the solution provided by me here for you. Good luck. Macmarkus :)

Continuous squeeky noise from underneath the burners.

Permanently? A fan will come on when using fan forced, another fan will come on(approx 5-10 minutes) later, which is the cooling fan,and can run for up to an hour after turning off. Turn off oven at mains to determine if it is electrical related fault.

Buzzing noise and won't clean

An aging water-inlet valve can sometimes fail slowly, rather than all at once. It can shudder on and off rapidly, causing the incoming water lines to shake, rumble, and rattle--sometimes violently. If yours is doing this, replace the inlet valve.or may be its due to
Heater fanIf the heater fan bearings are rusted or worn, they may squeal, or scrape loudly during the drying cycle. If this is the problem, replace the fan motor. Alternatively, the fan blade may be loose. If so, you need to replace it.
