Question about Garmin nuvi 350 GPS Receiver
Is there someway to connect my Nuvi 350 to use my car speakers? My car doesn't have a plug in port (that would be too easy). I only have a CD player and AM/FM radio.
I purchased an FM transmitter, plug it into the earphone jack on the nuvi, tune the radio to the frequency set on the transmitter and play thru my car stereo.
The transmitters are widely available and inexpensive. The cheaper ones have preset frequencies that can be selected. The better ones (not necessarily more expensive) have infinate selection capabilities. The latter will allow you to better find a clear frequency (one not used by a nearby FM station). Mine has the presets and works fine all over England.
Hint - Buy a set of 4 rechargable batteries. Two for the unit and two for take along spares. Recharge the depleted batteries and put them back into your car as spares repeatedly. Saves money in the long run.

No, unfortunately ther is no way to get the unit to use your car speakers. To do this, the unit would have to have an FM transmitter or be able to connect to one. It does not have this capability. Sorry.
