Hello !
I own an old IBM 2.88 MB Floppy and i want to use it with one of my systems
now. o.k. it's no problem to connect a regular floppy but IBM has decided to
integrate the power connectors into the 34pin Floppy Databus connector...
Can anyone describe the pinout of this connector ? or tell me where to find
it on the net ? I've checked the IBM website, the Mitsubishi website and so
on.
The drive name is : Mitsubishi MF356C-799MA, the IBM Partnuber is 72X6101
Thanx in advance

if the 2.88 drive has a slot connector that plugs into the motherboard it is a microchannel floppy. A standard floppy has a 38 pin connector for data and a 4 pin power connector. If your floppy is microchannel it only has the one slot and the pinout contains both data and power.
