Canon Laser Class 710 Operators Manual

If you still have the pdf for this manual (or a link to it), I would greatly appreciate receiving it - I also have a previously owned 710 but did not receive either an operator's manual or a service manual with it.

Thank you!

I have a laser class 730i as a hand-me-down from my church office and the office did not provide me with a manual. I need one, otheriwise I will never know it the machine can make a mocha latte for me!! I cannot figure out how to use it. My office on the campus is in a different building, and no one from the office is available to give me an in-service. Can I download a manual from you?

If the machine sqeaks lubrcate all bearings, at all shafts that turn. If the noise is comming from the fuser swap it out. It is dangerous to try to lube a fuser because of the high operating temperature.

I have a Laser Class 710 and the error light keeps blinking. There is a message that says "incorrect paper size received in memory". How do I get rid of this?

Someone has probably sent you a fax on 8 1/2 x 14 inch (legal size) paper. Pull down the manual hand feed tray which is located above the regular paper cassettes and place some legal size paper in it. Hopefully the fax will be outputted and the message will go away. Good luck.

When I get faxes in there are lines running up and down the pages, How do I fix that?

Your drum is dirty. Or the wire that cleans the drum is kinked or dirty.
Follow the wire cleaning and drum cleaning procedure in your Fax/Printer owners manual.

The Canon web site fails to provide an online version of your users manual:
http://usa.canon.com/cusa/office/products/hardware/facsimile/laser_facsimile/laser_class_710#Overview

This web site claims to have a free PDF download of your owners manual, but this link actually
leads to an order form for a $25 manual from amazon.com, and/or tradebit.com:
