Inverted screen When I boot up, the colors are inverted. The text is white and the background is black. Everything is inverted, making it impossible to read. I even tried to do a system restore. No luck.

Yes, I have. Everything is configured correctly.

I hooked up a different monitor and it works beautifully. I really think that when it was in a screen saver mode, that when I went to touch the pad I touched more than 1 key. Sure hope there is a solution that you gurus can offer me.

I have the same problem on mine, it started acting up this morning. According to my research it's a bad lcd screen; you must replace the screen.

The colors on my laptop screen are inverted.

Start by cleaning the fan, vents and heatsink. Is it overheating? Try shutting down, unplug, removing the battery, reboot. also connect a external monitor, if possible. Have you done ALL the Windows and Samsung Updates? You can boot to safe mode to verify the graphics adapter driver, when in safe mode you use the generic graphics driver. Hopefully the Graphics Adapter isn't damaged due to overheating.

The colors on my laptop's screen are inverted, how can I fix this?

Both OS X and Windows have inversion options for their displays. Their meanings, on the other hand, differ with the operating system. An inverted display on Windows refers to the display actually being upside down, while an inverted display on the Mac refers to the colors being inverted. Either way, these options can hinder the use of your computer, for obvious reasons. Luckily, an inverted screen can be fixed quickly, on both Windows and OS X.

Right click on the Desktop and select "Properties." Click the "Settings" tab and then select "Advanced." Click the "Driver" tab and then "Graphics Properties." Press "Display Settings" and uncheck the "Enable rotation" option. Click "Apply" and then "OK." On Mac OS X Click the Apple logo in the upper left hand corner of the screen. Scroll down and select "System Preferences." Select "Universal Access" and click on the "Seeing" tab. Check the "Black on white" option and the display should return to normal. Close System Preferences to save the changes.

Inverted Colors When Laptop Screen is Moved

hi
you are absolutely right.

there are basically two connections.
  1. at the motherboard end.
  2. at the display end.

any of the connector may be malfunctioning.

i ll suggest you not to open it yourself if you dont have prior experience in it.

while it wont take much to repair its not a costly affair.

if your system is under warranty it can be repaired for free.

if you find the solution helpful plz rate me carefully.
thnx
