I have a HP iPAQ and ran the battery down. On recharging when I go into calender the button will npt move from one week to the next. Can you help

Remove the battery and then plug it back and then check
2. reset the ipaq by going into settings
even after this is the problem persist reload the software contact the tech for tht

How to unlock computer


BIOS locked? CMOS or BIOS password?

Remove power. Open computer case.

FOLLOW Anti-Static Precautions!

Remove coin-cell CMOS battery.
Press the Power On button in. Hold in for a count of 10 seconds. Let go.
Repeat 2 more times.
(Drains residual power)

Reinstall CMOS battery.

Connect to power. WAIT 1 minute, turn the computer on.

Also the motherboard may have a jumper on it, which you move in a CORRECT procedure, to remove CMOS settings. (Such as a BIOS password)

Use the Restoration Disk (CD) and perform a Full Install.

HP Pocket 2003. Need to restore information but not recognising profile. Where do I find the files on PC to copy mobile devise. Using XP student edition


Syncronation profile? you should make a new active sync profile.

or do you mean something else? please be more spesific.
if your device was hard reset and you need to restore something.

I need to replace the ram how do i open the case


The left side panel will need to be removed. Lay the computer down on it's right side side at take off the two screws on the back holding the left side panel. Some cases I've seen may just have a switch or something similar. Once you've done this slide the panel towards the back pull it off. The panel will not slide off, it'll move about an inch backwards at which point you will vertically remove the panel. Don't forget to ground yourself before touching any of the components.

Unfortunately, since HP purchased the Compaq brand, it is very difficult to find contact numbers for compaq, You may need to search the compaq / HP websites for contact numbers, and ask to be transfered to one of thier representitives.

I ran into a emachine desktop 3 days ago, and reinstalled operating system, everything was working fine, however when i shut down and booted the next day, computer continued to reboot itself after passing...


there is usually a jumper with three pins beside the cmoss battery just move the jumper to the last two pins for 5 seconds and put it back that will reset your bios that may help

My desk top hp pavillion will not turn on


Hold the power button in on the computer for 5 seconds. Wait another 5 seconds. Now hit the power button as you normally would to turn the PC on. It should boot normally.
