Question about Televison & Video

1 Answer

No Video on Philips 50PF7321D Plasma TV

This TV turns on and there is sound. However there is no video on the screen. This problem happened suddenly and did not show any signs that it was going to happen.

Thought that maybe it was a power module problem but checked all of the voltages listed on the Power PCB itself and they are all present and within listed ranges.

How does my workshop tech check the PDP itself?

Any Service Manuals available for this TV?

My Philips 50PF7321D/37 TV picture turns blue after about 30 secs of being on and I cant seem to get it to stop. Also when I turn the TV on it has a black screen with sound for about 15 secs before it

Unplug both the set and a box or receiver if used with the set, remove from power for several minutes and replug all to see if a reboot will help or not.

I have a philips 50pf7321d plasma tv and the screen suddenly split, half picture on each side of screen, and black bar inthe middle.

Black bar caused by a short IC on the ribbon of the plasma panel. Unfortunately it requires a new plasma panel. Cost of a new unit.
