When the power is turned on all I see is the LED light on the front flash from blue to red, continuously. All I here is the sound that it usually makes when it starts up but then it makes a clicking sound and does the whole thing over again. I am desperate for help, EVERYTHING I have I've been backing up on this thing.

Do you connect via USB or firewire? Can you / have you tried another connection method?
Does it sound like the disk is spinning normally, or is it making a heap of clunking noises or not spinning?
The most common problem (assuming it has power, which it obviously does because it has a blue light), is the USB cable. Do you have another that you can try?
Let us know how you go with that and we'll continue...
Lights up blue when the Drive is powered on. Flashes red when reading or writing data. It was just stuck between color as it does not flash green,red-blue make green. Contact the company and see if it is under warranty, if not see if they will send you a new light, because if it is not under warranty,it does not matter if you open it.
All that is inside is a hard drive, chip board. The light plugs onto the chip board same as a fan plugs onto a motherboard. I hope this helps you and it is under warranty,or at least they send you a new light if not.
My nx2 is working again after having the "red light/blue light/I/O Error" problem. I just:
1. turned off my computer
2.unplugged the HD,
3. took out the HD from the enclosure and plugged it back into the enclosure,
4.started up my computer without the HD being plugged in
5. after my computer had been on for a minute, I plugged the HD in and my computer recognized it and had the proper mixture of red and blue light coming from the HD, indicating it's working properly.
It includes the following: Beeping noise and flashing LED Situation
When I turn on the Store & Save, it makes a beeping noise and the LED flashes continuously.
These symptoms indicate that the AC adapter is not providing enough power.
The AC adapter will need to be replaced.
I hope this helps, Bob
well the best thing i figured out to do was to purchase a new case. i think the case burned up. i pulled the hard drive out and hooked it up to another drive so to see if it would work. the drive works just fine in the other device, so i ordered another case.
