Click on control panel.
click on printer
click on the printer with the jam
right click over each of the documents in the jam and press delete this will cancel the operation....most likely if you only delete the top document it will solve the problem.
Turn the computer off....Turn printer off. This should clear the que.
Turn computer and printer on and you should be good to go.

I have 2 documents waiting to print offline. If I ask the printer to print, it just adds another document to the list. How do I print or cancel the job

Hi there
Thes instructions are based upon Windows 7.
Your best procedure would probably be to open >Devices and Printers. Then double click on your printer and amongst the selections available will be "See what's printing". Click on this and a small box with the list of documents will appear. Highlight a document and click on the Documents menu and then cancel. The document will be deleted from the list. Do this for every document in the list until the list is empty. They will be deleted more quickly if the printer is turned off while you are doing it.
Turn the computer off and disconnect from the mains, disconnect the printer from the mains. After a couple of minutes plug them back in, turn on the printer and then reboot the computer.
You should now be able to print but before you retry make sure that the computer finds the printer and labels it as "Ready" by going to >Devices and Printers again, double clicking the printer in question and checking that "Ready" is against the printer at the top of the page in the blue border, otherwise the same problem may occur.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya
Cheers

Printer keeps saying busy printing another document

A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Simply disconnect the printer from your computer (if USB connected)> reboot your pc > unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to your computer (if USB connected). Then try to print again once the computer fully recognizes the USB connection or when the WiFi light on the printer turns solid green (if WiFi connected.).

If that doesn't help, try the steps below:

  1. Disconnect the USB cable connecting the printer from your computer.
  2. On your computer, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes.
  3. Delete the Lexmark print object.
  4. Reboot computer.
  5. Re-brick your printer by pulling out the power supply - black box where the power cord is plugged into on the back of the printer, and re-plug after 30 seconds.
  6. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to the computer.
  7. Wait until your computer fully recognizes the USB connection. To check, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. If you see a new Lexmark print object in the list, try to print a document to verify that the problem is fixed.

I set something up to print and it only prints a half a page

Can you save your document to PDF and try to print it again? Sometimes there is 'corrupt' postscript information in your file, and when you make a PDF first, it will be solved. If you do not want to make a PDF first, try to print your document page by page. It also could be a memory problem. That sometimes will be solved by shutting down your printer, wait a minute than switch it on again. So, you can try these three things:
1: Shut down your printer, wait a minute switch it on again, than try to print your document
2: Print your document page by page
3: Make a pdf of your document first, than print the pdf
Succes!

Just installed new KODAK ESP3 I find the print program page has over 74 documents to be printed how do I clear this unwante backlog

Click on your printer (Icon in the Systray) A window will open with a list of the documents waiting to be printed. Delete them. You may have to look around in the window for this feature.

If that doesnt work, delete the printer, reboot and reinstall the printer.

I hope this works for you
