Phones are not working on comdial system. a week ago they worked great. now they quit working. we changed cards cords and plugs. ran new wire to phones from the system itself to the jack. and it seems to be on the phones on the longer wire runs from the system. we replaced the wire for that route trying to cut terminations to a minimum. and its only the phones off the expansion module. could it maybe be a power issue. The phones have worked for years and just quit working for no reason.

The extension is not programmed to ring. Re-program that station to ring.

In a standard Impact system the entire universe of numbers is 10-41 in a standard E-80PT. You could dial 0 or 10 from the unknown extension and read the display, or just start dialing each unknown or sequentioal number until it rings.
