Order Just placed a pick-up order. How can I remove an item after I have submitted the order?

You call them and tell them you changed your mind. if they already shipped your package they will tell you to send it back unopen. they they will issue a refund. either way you can get your money back as long as you tell them you dont want it asap

a notice via e-mail ? That is likely a scam/virus-redirect attack...with the 'submit' button being the attack. Your Anti-virus program may have automatically removed the malicious link for you so you would not have infected yourself.....

I'm using Restaurant Pro Express in a retail (cupcake store) environment. I have customers that place orders and put money on deposit. Some time later, and it could be months, they will pick up the order...


Good news/Bad news. There is a solution to your problem, but your need the latest version (version 12.?) to avoid your problems. Version 11.5 will not let you void individual items or invoices with a credit card payment applied. As you probably know, upgrading is not free after your initial 90 day period. Upgrading will cost you $250.00. And all your inventory will need to have a box checked for the lawaway to work properly. No big deal if you only have 50 items. Very big deal if you have 5000. I can give you the whole setup needed and fix inventory in one pass if interested. Email me

How to cancel a back order item on Amazon.com


Just log in to Amazon and click on Your Account in the upper right of the page. From the Your Account page, you should see prominent links for canceling orders.

I placed an order this morning, what do I need to do to cancel


Cancel Items from an Order You can cancel or amend any order placed with Amazon.co.uk, provided that the order has not yet entered the dispatch process.
Visit the "View Recent and Open Orders" button in Your Account. If we can recognise you as a customer with any unshipped orders, you will see a box to the right. Click the relevant link in that box to visit the order summary page. (If you do not see that box, click here to sign in to "Your Account", and select the order you wish to alter). >
You should then Click the "Cancel items or orders" link and sign in with your e-mail address and password. If the order you want to cancel is listed as "Items Not Yet Dispatched", you can cancel it straight away. If it's listed as "Items Dispatching Soon" or "Items Dispatched", you will need to wait until the order is delivered to you before you can cancel the order. Please read the Your Statutory Rights help page to find out more.
If it's listed as "Items Not Yet Dispatched", click the "View or Change Order" button next to the order you want to cancel. On the next page, click the "Need to Cancel an Item?" button. Select the tick box to the right of the order and click the "Cancel Selected Items" (or "Update Order") button. You will also be required to select a reason for cancelling the item from the drop-down menu that appears. You'll receive an e-mail confirmation from us shortly afterwards.

Pick-up procedure


Hey mikey50,

Whenever you place an order through our website, you will want to make sure that you first receive an e-mail confirmation that your order could be filled before stopping into your local store. Once you've gotten that e-mail, you will need to bring with you the following things:

* Your order number (this will appear within your order confirmation e-mail.

* Your driver's license or another valid photo I.D.

* The credit card you used to make the online purchase.

The reason why you'll need your credit card with you is because you aren't officially charged for your order until you pick the products up at your local Best Buy™ store. As such, the credit card holder will need to be there in person to provide us with their signature. If you placed your order using only gift cards however, you should only need to bring your order number and a valid photo I.D.

Additionally, if the store offers a lower sale price than our website on any product you ordered, you will automatically be provided with the lower on-site sale price.
