We have a phone system Toshiba Strata DK40 with phones dkt2020sd and dkt2010h and we need to know how to make some of the phones ring as they do not all do that. Can you help me with that?

Are you talking about a special speakerphone that is not made by Toshiba? This would be a single line phone device not a proprietary Toshiba phone and you would need a special card in your system that can handle single line devices. You may already have one that has a free port on it.

However, it does sound like you would need to find help from a local phone system installation company. You cannot plug a single line phone into any phone port on your system. A special wire would need to be run just for that phone and the system would need to be re-programmed for that port. If you need a single line card it will be even more complicated.

do all of the lines appear on all the extensions? if so, the procedue is fairly complicated, you need to go into the programming on port 05, then go into program 04 and get all of the port numbers for each extension, then in program 81-89 you need to select each when you want the co to ring, in either day 1,2 or 3, and complete for each co line that you want to ring

logical port can be found by dialing #402 to program ringing take a 2020-sd phone to ext 205 and dial this sequence but change 000# to the number from #402 code *#*#1*2*3 spkr 81 hold spkr 000# and light the light for your lines (line 1 starts at the very bottom left) press hold then spkr ## hold and Spkr ## hold

I would guess you have the Stratagy VM? and it would have to have the Admin program and Connecting cord to program via RS232 more on ths cam be found here
