Trying to Copy and paste my confirmation and it doesn't work. What else can do?

You don't really give enough info to help. If on a PC open wordpad.(start, run, type wordpad in run box and enter) In your original document which hopefully has text and is not just an image document (some pdf's don't have copyable text for example) highlight the text and press ctrl and c keys together, put the cursor in wordpad and press ctrl and v keys together. If it does not paste to wordpad you don't have a document with copyable text. The only way round that is to run character recognition software on your document.

Photocopier producing skewed finished copies. What can be the problem?

If the image is skewed on your paper, you have a registration bushing broken.

If the image is OK on the paper, look for a piece of paper or a little thing in the way of copy

Adobe reader 8.0

You cannot copy the image, but you can make a snapshot of the screen. Magnify the document as much as you like to see the image after copying, then press PrintScreen button on your keyboard. Now you can paste it into any program.

You might also load the PDF file into some image processing program to convert it into image file. For example Adobe Photoshop or IrfanView is able to do this. (IrfanView requires GhostScript plugin to open PDF files.)

Third solution is installing a special printer driver which is able to print into image file instead to real printer. But all I know requires registration or limited some way.

Take it into photoshop cs3.Type the text over the scanned text that u want to erase.resize the typed text to match the scanned one.
2)make a layer copy of the background layer.Turn off the original background layer.then, create a layer mask for the copied layer.and paint black over the area u want to erase, with the layer mask active.
If u don't no photoshop OR in case, u couldn't figureout what i said, then mail me ur scanned image and the text file to damy.damy.bobo@gmail.com. i ll fix it and mail u back the edited copy.THANK YOU!!!

Pasteing and how it works

If you mean pasting in relation to cut / copy & pasting

How it works
When you cut or copy something, for example text, it is saved into the clipboard. Then when you paste, the text that is in the clipboard gets pasted. You can paste that same text more than once, it stays in the clipboard until it is over written (by cutting ot copying something else) or you restart your PC.

How to use it
There is a couple of ways to cut / copy & paste

1. Use right clicking menu
you can select something, some text for example, then right click on it with your mouse and select Cut or Copy. To paste right click where you want the text to be pasted and select Paste

2. Use application's Edit drop down menu
you can select something, some text for example, then select the application's Edit drop down menu and select Cut or Copy. To paste click where you want the text to be pasted select the application's Edit drop down menu and select Paste

3. Use keyboard shortcuts
you can select something, some text for example, then press Ctrl + X to Cut or Ctrl + C to Copy. To paste click where you want the text to be pasted then press Ctrl + V to Paste

Hope this helps

Same lines won't print

Sorry, but this is impossible, as a "printer problem". This is clearly a "software/buffer/document" problem.

This can ONLY happen (on two printers, same results) if the DOCUMENT has "exclusive" properties or instruction sets, or "invalid data" for the "missing" lines. For example, you may be printing an HTML document with "DO NOT CACHE" meta tag or java instructions about specific lines or form entries. Many sites (like banks, registration, or encrypted mail/login pages) do this as a security measure to prevent critical data from being inadvertently printed (and ending up outside in trash cans for an ID thief to pilfer). Other possibilities: The lines are NOT text data, they might be IMAGES of text, and saved in a format the printer/buffer does not support. Any of these examples would allow the software to DISPLAY the specific (missing) lines of text -yet NOT print them.

To test my theory (almost a certainty really), simply open the document and select PRINT SCREEN key (or use whatever key commands capture the screen as an image). This copies what YOU see, to the clipboard as a single "image" file (instead of a variety of ASCII characters, images, and code).

Next, open "PAINT" in accessories under MSlop (or any IMAGE editor like Photoshop, Gimp, etc)

Select NEW and agree to the screen size you are using (1024x768, 800x600, 1280x800, etc)

Select PASTE from file menu (or CTRL/V keys). Your document will now appear.

Print the document. The "missing lines" will now show up! If the document is too long for one screen shot, you may have to scroll down, recapture (PRINT SCREEN, etc) and paste one or more images into each other before printing it as a single IMAGE.
