Unable to scan from 5100 to computer

Was able to scan photo's prevously to computer, not sure what I selected.Today i selected photoshare express and now everytime I try to scan to computer I get the error "refer to device documentation to troubleshoot" which I don't have. Hope someone can assist. I am running vista.

    Where does the photoshare express software come from? did you try uninstalling the photoshare program and atempting a new scan?

It is not a documented issue. Close all your antivirus and firewall programs and try it again.

I am trying to scan to my computer and am unable to do it.
connect your lexmarkto the computer then
lift the lid on your scanner lay the photo/document face down then select scan document/photo it will ask what format you want to scan it then it will ask where you want to save it browse
select the file/folder where you want to save it (my pictures) most common
