Question about Audio Players & Recorders
I have a few helpful suggestions for all who have Accurian 42-198 problems. First of all check here for troubleshooting. These players are made by perception digital, an oem maker. I have had great success flashing the player with firmware from funtwist. They have the same player with slightly different firmware that doesn't seem as buggy as radio shack's. Mine did this also, I charged it and i got to use it one time. after i added a test song it and unplugged it from computer while it was still on, it would not come back on.. somehow i got it to reset, i believe one of the tiny holes near the usb plug is the reset switch , try inserting a safety pin or paper clip and it may turn back on.
