Hi renee_89_ann,

have you check online if there's an available driver for the said camera?

If there is good for you, just download it first and run it on to your computer!!!!

thanks

Intex webcam driver for window 7

try loading the cam with the compatibility wizard.
this is about vista but windows 7 works the same way.
http://www.davesdrivers.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=2

windows 7 much like vista before it is proving a pain when trying to get older webcams working.
if you gone from 32bit to 64 bit o/s it will prove almost impossible as most of the early cams did not have 64bit drivers.

tip
make sure all thrid party firewalls and anti-virus are switched off while you do the driver install or that can block the usb port the cam is on.
also please make sure your using a main usb port and not a hub, these cams really don't like sitting on self powered hubs.

I WANT TO INSTALL MY GE WEBCAM. i DO NOT HAVE A CD. WHAT I NEED TO DO TO HAVE MY CAM RUNNING SMOOTHLY. THANKS.

If it is a new cam, and you are running a newer version of Windows, like 7 or 8, the driver should be in the OS. But when the cam is somewhat older, and GE did not write a certified driver for the newer versions of Windows, you won't be able to install a working driver for that cam.
The software should be available on the GE website in the US. (older drivers to)

Why i cant install my usb20 camera without cd?

Hello Sir, hi! some web cam especially the older ones, don't need the CD, its in the windows driver list. If the webcam is new, most likely they need the Driver disk (the CD) to be installed properly,

No set up of anything all ihave is a older web cam

If you know the brand or model, you can go to the manufacturer's website and locate the driver.
Another option is to use a driver finder program to automatically locate the driver.

I don`t have the cd instalation

You may need the OLDER driver too;
Locate this driver "USBPCCam_v4.19.0" or contact me at yancy@yancyman.com and I'll email it to you. I had a real problem when I used the NEWER version of the program and It just didn't work at all.
TRY "USBPCCam_v4.19.0" GOOD LUCK

I lost my webcam cd installer

This software package should work for you:
http://www.softwarepatch.com/utilities/logitech-webcam-driver-quickcam.html
If you have an older camera there is a link to the older drivers from that page.
Hope that helps

When you go to Logitech's site do this:

Click on "support" on the top.

Click on "downloads + parts"

Choose "webcams" from the "search by image" dropdown box. Click "view all products"

Scroll to the bottom, and click "still can't find your product?"

You will see the older / archives models there.

Make sure it's EXACTLY what your camera looks like!

For instance, the older "express" cam has 3 different models, and all 3 use different drivers.

If you find it, and is has the driver available for your Operating Syatem, be sure to UNPLUG the camera from the PC before installing, and ONLY plug it in when the on-screen instructions tell you to do so.

Keep in mind, that Vista support for older models is very limited.
