Yes, they do make an External Modem. You can purchase a an external modem and any local computer store or even online.
It can easily be hooked up with a power cable which should be included and a phone cable or a dsl cable depending on if you are getting a dsl modem or a dial up modem.

Either way, the external modem should come with easy to follow directions.
I hope this helps.
Please post a rating if I have answered your question.
Good luck.

you will have to open up your network connections click start control panel network connections this may vary depending on your operating system look for local area connection if you see a red x or a yellow exclamation or question mark ! ? you will need to update or install the driver or it could be firewalled
If you are trying to connect through a modem/router you it should have come with a disk then
you might have to connect the usb lead to your modem to get a connection then
click start control panel, administrive tools, computer management, device manager scroll to network adapters should see a yellow question mark? right click install drivers
the driver might be on the disc supplied by your ISP internet service provider
or the motherboard disc
hope this helps or you could download one
cnetdownload.com on the homepage you will see a search bar type in the ethernet controller freeware you want/need

Plz. help getting blue screen error. each time different errors like IRQL_NOT_LESS... DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS... some time error like driver ATI radian family stop responding and recover. some time error in...

There are a few things that can cause this. 1. One of your RAM modules (rectangle with cmall black rectangles on it) located on the motherbarod is bad. 2. You have WAY too many USB devices atached to your system, and there aren't enough IRQ's to go around.
TRY THIS: 1. Remove all the RAM modules, and try booting with them one at a time. if none of them work Then (HOPEFULLY) it's not your ram. (if it Isn't the second one, it could mean the RAM slots on your motherboard are bad, and misreading, or all your RAM is shot.) 2. Remove one USB device at a time, starting with anything plugged into an external USB Hub. And, as a future tip, never boot with any USB hubs, or external storage devices present, as they're known to cause issues with the boot process due to it's method of reading, and writing files to a drive.
What I mean by that, is that sometimes, if a removable drive's inserted upon boot, or while installing an operating system, it could have the boot files written to it, then when you take it out, you no longer boot, because you don't have the files to, so as a precaution, never have external drives or flash media inserted at boot. No boot at all

could be a variety of hardware issues ... if you have a modem card remove it first ... leave the battery out as it is not required to operate the laptop as long as you have ac power ... leave all the ram chips out as most laptops have some ram built in ... remove the harddrive and any other internal drives ... also disconnect anything external ... network printers etc... after that yopu are into removing the keyboard and disconnecting the video ...but it gets a bit complicated if you have never worked on laptops before...
