Unfortunately the OS was corrupt and wasn't able to get it working. I have contacted alpine they want 70$ to get it reflashed with an os. If I do it I'll be making an image of it just incase this happens again.

Hi, unfortunately this head unit has no line in function. The RCA jacks are preamp output to connect an amplifier. To read complete specs and/or obtain a user manual, go to http://www.crutchfield.com/p_133C1401/Panasonic-MXE-CQ-C1401U.html?tp=5684&tab=features_and_specs
pull the unit out and make sure that your connections are all good and solid -if you wiggled it and it worked momentarily- then chances are the wiring or wiring harness is loose and needs some attention
To get your Sirius ID number from you MR-17 JBL stereo, select the Mode button until it displays "Sirius". Then push and hold the Mode button for a couple seconds and it will chirp and display 3 blank spaces. Enter three zeros, "000" in these 3 spaces. The Zero is the loud button labeled "LD". When you do that, it will display your Sirius ID number. :)
where you bought it should have a record of you buying it as well, make sure to bring all thr proof who you are, and try to remember the date you bought it. all the info you can give will help them locate the sales tag.
Yes, there is. There is a button on the bottom left side, right next to the 6th preset button that says "clock" on it. If you just hold down that button, the clock will start to flash, then you just use the volume button to set the time. Turning counterclockwise will change the hour, clockwise is for the minutes.
