Toshiba Satellite P25-S507 Bios screen and boot screen ask for a password I never set. Toshiba Tech support in India says I need to purchase a recovery cd from them for $40 to reset password and wipe all my data off. Will not work with a new HD. What a crock of B.S. ..A straight up pisser. I took the laptop apart and was looking for J01 pin to short out. could not find it. Could I remove bios chip for a reset? Let me know..though it would make a nice anchor for my fishing boat.

Dell latitude laptop locked out with it asking for bitlocker password which I Don't have and i can't access my computer now

If you don't know the bitlocker password, forget getting access to your computer. Take out the hard drive encrypted by bitlocker, and install a new hard drive. Reinstall operating system on the replaced hard drive.
It will be a new installation.

DO NOT panic, you can reset the password YOURSELF.

Windows Password Recovery is right what you need in your case. The password recovery tool is designed to reset Windows login password once you accidentally forgot it or have no access to your system including Windows 7, Vista, XP etc. By burning a bootable CD, you can enter almost any computer with Windows administrator login password protected within a few seconds. Here are the step by step tutorial, pretty easy, I am sure you can handle it!

Step 1: Download Windows Password Recovery and install it on another computer.
Step 2: Prepare a blank CD/USB and run the software and use it to burn the ISO file to it.
Step 3: Put it into the CD-ROm and restart your locked computer. Change the BIOS setting of your locked computer to make it boot from the CD-ROM or USB drive. Note: start computer and press F2 or Delete to enter BISO setup
Step 4: Boot your locked computer from the created disk and remove your forgotten password. GOOD LUCK!

Can reinstall or format drive

Download this 3 MB zip file. Then extract it. It will be an ISO image file that you will need to burn directly (not normal copy) on to a blank CD. If you are usng Nero, there's an option to "burn image to disk" option, use that.

Boot the computer  using the CD and follow the instructions to change the admin password.
