Question about Canon PowerShot G5 Digital Camera

1 Answer

How to delete a picture

I have been given a secondhand Canon G5 Powershot, can download pics to computer (software was enclosed), but I have no idea of what all the buttons are for. I have an instruction book for the software, but not for the camera.
Is there a picture of the actual camera naming all the function buttons, as I have read on the internet what the camera can do, but don't know how to or which button is which.
I have taken some pics, but don't know how to delete them individually.

Any help or advice you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

You can get manuals for the G5 here. Wait a few seconds for all the manuals to show up. When you click on a link the manual will open in a separate window (pdf). Click on the Save icon in the upper left corner to save the manual to your computer.

There are 2 solutions. 1: you may connect it to the computer and delete those picture you want. 2: You may find the picture and when you see the pic you want to delete you just press the delete bucket seen and confirm after. Hope you got an idea. Good luck

I accidently deleted a picture. How to recover it back. It is a Canon IXUS 870 IS camera. It uses a SD card.

You can connect camera's memory card to computer, then download this picture recovery program which is outstanding among all picture recovery software.

You should have let the download complete and then delete the pics from their location on your computer. You can try using a separate card reader to see if your pics show up. You can also take the card to a store like Walmart that has a Kodak picture kiosk machine. Your pics may show up if you insert your card.

Well, no matter you photos in Canon camera got deleted, formatted by accident or became inaccessible due to camera memory card errors. Chances of recovery is possible as long as you take the right action.

Take a try of this software to recover Canon photos, Not only general photo formats, but Canon RAW photo formats (.cr2 or .crw) can be retrieved easily.

Note: before the photos are recovered, Never should you attempt to take more photos or save more data to the memory card in case chances of photo recovery might be reduced. Hope it helps. Regards.
