Sync notice I turned on my mp3 player and it says "Sync Notice" to continue listening to your subscription tracks, please sync your device. My subscription has expired, don't I still get the songs I downloaded and if so, how to I resync the thing because it's frozen?

Hi my MP3 is doing the same thing. I hooked it up yesterday and it kept flashing "syncing device - do not disconnect" and it doesn't sync it. I have only the songs that came on it and none of the ones that I downloaded. I only used Rhapsody a couple of times and the other songs I got off of a friend's computer. How do I get it synced to where I can go and download songs where they will stay on the MP3 player? Thanks

Yes I solved the problem..I contacted Rhapsody and they told me my 30 day period had been expired and I needed to renew my subscription which would be $14.99/mo. All the songs that I downloaded onto my mp3 I thought I would automatically get after the 30 day period was over...guess not!

Sync Notice

This usually indicates that the content you are trying to listen to has digital rights associated with the media. This woud normally be the case if the content was downloaded via a subscrition service such as Napster or Rapsody, which means you are basically "renting" the song instead of buying it. In order to validate that the subscription for that media is still valid (i.e. you have paid for the subscription) you must sync the device with the service on a periodic basis. For example, with NapsterToGo you must sync a device at least every 30 days to validate the subscription.

Mp3 Player - sansa sandisk 2 GB

Unfortunately you are not going to be able to go online to sync your device...All music subscription such as napster and rhapsody require you to sync your device every single month using their actual software..The reason is to prevent customer from cancelling their music subscription..once you cancel your membership all the songs you have on your device will become useless. In another word, you are renting the music from the subscription company...

P.S.Please rate accordingly...

Mp3 player keeps getting SYNC notice

For NS-DA1G and NS-DA2G: If you are receiving a SYNC notice, your DRM media license has expired. If you are using a media manager like Best Buy Digital Media Store or Windows Media Player. you will first need to authorize the player as an MTP device (device authorized to play Digital Rights Management song files) and then re-acquire the licenses for the tracks. There should be a button that allows this function in your media software.

If you want to remove your DRM tracks, got to:
MENU - Settings - USB - File & Folder

This puts your player into Mass Storage Mode. Once in this mode the player will act like a USB drive and you can navigate to and delete your unwanted files.

San Disk 230 (512 MB) MP-3 Player

If you have ripped the songs using windows media player 9 then you may want to rerip then again using windows media player 10 ( provided that you disable Copy Protect Music in The RIP tab ) and windows media player 11. If the songs came from music stores (napster,Rhapsody etc.. ) you can resync them using their software. You may want to reformat your player then retransfer the songs. This is normal if you purchase the songs. It dont mean the player is faulry its just the songs.

Sync problems

The synchronize notice appears when the 30 days pass without connecting and synchronizing your device while you are signed in.
