Question about Breadman TR2200C Ultimate Bread Maker

Bread pan pops up

The breadpan of the Breadman Ultimate Plus rised up off of the agitator under the bread pan. Looks like there is nothign to keep it seated to the agitator. Side clips arrest lateral or horizontal movment, but engineering seems to have missed supressing vertical movement, which is foreseeable, the agitator pushed against the mixing arm. It is pressure, and it escapes the pressure with the route of least resistance...UP. when that happens, there is not keading, b/c there is not contact, but is makes a racket beatign, cut doing nothing? Instruction book has no solution, other than pull the side clips out more, tried it, offers no help.

    I had the same issue from day 1, sent the machine back, my second machine did the same thing. If you want to avoid dealing with return after return, you can try what I did...once you have the loaf pan snapped down into the clips, raise the pan handle at about a 45 degree angle towards the front of the machine. Close the lid against the resistance of the handle, essentially pinning the pan into the clips. Then wrap 2 bungees around the entire machine, front to back, to hold the lid closed with the pressure holding the pan in place. It seems like a pain (and it is), but it seems to be the only way I have found to use this expensive machine with any success. Just make sure the bungees tight enough that there is no gap in the lid, otherwise the bread won't rise sufficiently with the heat escaping.

I found the clips on the loaf tin were pointing slightly downwards on each side when I first purchased the Breadman.

I bent the clips on the loaf tin up to more of a 90 degree angle.

I managed to scratch the loaf pan and am looking to buy a replacement for my Tr520 Breadman breadmaker. Not proving to be very easy. Help!

Hi,
Check out ebay. They seem to be expensive....For some reason I think the manufacturers don't sell the bread pans separately so you have to buy a whole new machine.

Doesn't bake

Our machine is 4 years old and works well. However, our breadpan is leaking. We can't find another. If you would like to purchase the machine, we would be willing to sell it.

I am also in need of a pan for my breadman 2200C.

If I cant get my breadman ultimate tr2200 fixed, I can ship you my breadpan. I guess that would be better than throwing it out. It is like new.

Bread pan pops out during the kneading 2 cycle

I had a similar problem after using the same machine for several years. It worked well for years and then popped off the shaft whenever I had a rather stilll dough. To solve the problem I bent the clips on each side of the bread pan that hold the pan into the machine up and toward the center of the machine. I did not use any tools to do the bending. It solved the problem. The pan no longer jumps up out of the clips and off of the shaft.

Me too! I have to bend the two metal pieces on the sides out before every use - they are pretty flexible, you won't break them. Just bend out and they hold the pan in for a use or two. Not an elegant solution, I admit, but it works.

Initial use

YOu want to clean out the interior with a damp (NOT WET) cloth then dry it - before running it empty with the breadpan and paddle in place. My manual told me to follow the instructions for the Making Dough and Baking Bread section of the Instruction Manual. (I have TR5200BC) I'm referencing page 23 of my manual and starting from STEP 5. Comments in { } are mine.
5.Insert the Bread Pan into the Bread Chamber - press down and make sure it snaps securely into place. {note - you may find that you have to rotate what looks like the propeller on the bottom of your bread pan until you get used to placing it the chamber}. If the Bread Pan does not snap securely into place, remove Bread Pan. Wearing oven mits {to avoid sharp edges}, place fingers behind Bread Pan clips and gently pull away from oven wall. Insert Bread Pan again.
6. Close the Lid. Plug into 120V-60Hz outlet. The Breadman will beep and the display indicator will light up with flashing zeros.
7. Press the SELECT Button to choose the Cycle you want. Each time the SELECT Button is pressed, it will beep and the Indicator will move to the next Cycle in the Display Window.
8. {Skip step 8 - Crust selection}
9. Press the LOAF Size Butoon to select 1LB
10. {Skip step 10 - Extras nuts/fruits}
11.Press the START Button
12. Press STOP/RESET Button and open the Lid. {If you want to remove the Bread Pan at this time be sure to use oven mits - I did mine the night before I wanted to use it and let it cool over night. Before I used it to bake I rinsed out the Bread Pan with warm water and mild soap}.

This will take about 2 hours then you are ready to bake. Enjoy

Breadman tr2500bc pan popping out

I read in a review that the pan can warp if you read instructions because it said to fist run the machine in quick bread mode to clear factory coating. Review said to run in quick bread mode with lid open so it doesn't overheat, heat warps the pan, so it pops out . However manuel never mentions to leave lid open. I just got one and hope they are right. I just ran it new no ingredients quick bread lid open...
