U-Line 15WC Wine Cooler Problem

My U-Line 15WC wine cooler is 9 years old. The unit is getting power because the inside light comes on when I open the door. However, the cooler is not running. No sound, no heat, nothing. Can you please help to fix the problem. Thank you!

10 year old unit. Light comes on - sometimes a noise like a compressor running. No cooling

I have a U-line 75wc an undercounter wine cooler. My unkit stopped working although the light came on which showed it had power. I checked the air intake on the bottom and found it was covered with a thick layer of dust. It's something i never thought about ubtil it broke. After cleaning it out it still didn't work. I read Dr Cool on this site who said it was a thermostat problem. I called Uline and got the part number then ordered it from AppliancePartsPro.com. The thermostat was a little awkward to install but not too difficult. (I'm handy but not a professional). And Yipppee it works! Thanks Dr Cool.

I have a U-2075WCS-00 that worked fine until it sat for a few months unplugged. Now it does nothing when plugged in. No light, no noise, nothing! Any ideas?

I just had the same problem. Also, I was getting a burning smell. The coil on the unit was blanketed with dust and dog hair. First, I cleaned it all out and tried it. It really didn't do much and I still had the burning smell. I then opened the back and recognized that the fan was not working. Turned out to be really dirty. Cleaned it and no it is working fine.

Can the U-Line 15WC Wine Captain be converted to a beer cooler? Can it be adjusted so that it gets colder?

Here is a couple of reason that answer is no. One the thermostat is designed for 45 - 60 degrees. 2 The door is only design for those temperatures as well. I believe you are going to need the bee around 34 degrees. A wine captain would never make it. Its also design for 3 different temps at once. coldest on bottom and warmest on top.

Does not cool the wine, back panel is warm and unit is making a no

If your condensor fan is running and the compressor is running then you will need a tech to look at the sealed system for you.

The door was not shut good, so i turned the wine cooler off and defrosted it overnight, but i still have E5 error code flashing.

e-5 means that the unit is 10 degrees warmer then setpoint. If you just close everything up and let it run the e5 should disappear when it gets within the temperature.

U-line 15" wine cooler not cooling, but light is on.

If the light is on and no fan or compressor is running then its your thermostat that is bad. Thats the only thing that turns on those parts.

U-Line 15WC wine cooler not working

First make sure your condenser is clean and the fan is going. If everything is running and still doesnt cool enough then you need a repair person to check the sealed system.
