Question about Creative Labs ZEN Vision:M Digital Media Player
There looks like a damaged area on the disk; the player goes into a repetitive loop and makes odd swiping noises. I can fast forward it and it goes on playing OK - until the next time. Can I run a "Scan Disk" type utility or even reformat the disk? Or does it need a professional repair guy to look at it?
When the player displays the Creative logo, release the Play button.
It will display the following options:
Scans the player and removes invalid links from its music library.
Does not affect music files themselves.
Caution! Erases all content!
There is no scan disk or Utility that i know of that will work sounds like the drive is toast!
