Model KDC-MP142/CR When turning radio is always goes to STANDBY mode I want the radio to go on in the normal way. Also the clock to backs to 12:00 when radio is turn on. Thanks

Hello swanaprslc,

It sounds like the "always hot" or battery wire is not connected to a 12V constant source. If you used a wiring harness, check and make sure that the pin in the harness that connects to the "yellow" wire coming from your Kenwood MP142 is hot with the ignition off. If you did not use a wiring harness, make sure that the yellow wire is connected to a fused 12V + constant source.

Hope this helps.
