The small speaker in upper front of your phone is having problem. Take it to service center.

I did some research on this issue for you. Apparently, this does happen. If still under warranty, Samsung will replace the speaker (and/or microphone) for you at no charge. Unfortunately, people complain about the ''turnaround'' time of approximately 2 weeks before getting it back from Samsung. // But at least now you know it _is_ a known issue that Samsung does acknowledge and repair. Try plugging in headphones. If it is loud enough with headphones, then the speaker is indeed bad.

Loud volume while i'm calling someone

Turn down the volume. There should be a volume control, probably on one of the sides of the phone.

My ringing volume is very low i have tried advanced profiles and put all setting on high however its still very low i can hardly hear it.

I have the same issue. It is a manufacturing fault. The fix with mine was to fold up a gum wrapper and place it over the camera flash, and re-fit the back cover. It may take some fiddling around as too much pressure will cause it to go low in volume again. another solution would be to place a dab of glue around the camera flash and let it dry before replacing the back cover. In the end, you just want to applie a slight pressure to the camera lens / flash area. Hope this helps

you have dropped it at sometime and dislodged your speaker ( possibly broken it ) you will be able to hear your callers on loud speaker as it has separate speaker. (mainly to listen to your music) hope this helps. mike

I had the same problem with that phone... while manipulating the mobile part (cover) you can slightly improve the volume.
Another point to check is the button on the side of the phone which allows to increase or lower the volume: it could happen that you turn the volume low without noticing it...
My solution was to replace the phone.

Strawberry Chocolate low volume

if you have tried raising the volume while on a call and you still have the same trouble then I'm afraid your earpiece has failed and you will need to take it to a tech and have the earpiece replaced
