Frigidaire gas range FGF337

My oven ignition seems to be working but upon trying to get the oven to operate the fuel does not seem to be coming in through the line. The heating coil for the ignitor glows bright red however cannot seem to get the fuel to enter the stove.

The ignitor should be almost a white hot color very bright . If it is orange or kinda reddish, the ignitor probably isn't getting hot enough to open the saftey valve. you could check the amp draw on ignitor , but most of the time if the ignitor isn't glowing bright almost white , that is probably the problem, besides that if and only if ignitor was good then i would look at the saftey valve. My money is on the ignitor.:)

Our frigidaire dual ignition fgf337 range will not ignite on either the stove. Broiler or oven. Gas is coming out though because you can hear and smell it. What to do? I don't think there is an pilot...

Good Morning M Kinsella, thank you for your inquiry!

Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire dual fuel range is not igniting on either broil or bake. There is not a pilot light on your range. It typically is an electronic igniter and if it fails that electrical piece would need to be replaced. In order to have that component tested and repaired I would advise seeking assistance from a professional technician. If you do not have a professional contact I would review your manufacturer's website for additional assistance. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Frigidaire self clean oven: how long will it stay on and can I turn it off before it is finished cleaning? Freestanding stove is 39' width

you can set the amount of time for self clean that you want, you can also turn it off during mid cycle, but if oven is hot it will not unlock the door til it is cooled down enough, maybe 20 min to 1/2 hr. It is a safety pre-caution.

The clock(computer?)broke so I replaced that part it seems to work. I then tried the oven it will not light. The ignition glows red but does not light the gas. I can smell gas. I tried lighting the oven...

Just because an igniter glows, does not necessarily mean it is good. The following link explains:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r401858-replacing_oven_igniter_gas_range

It sounds like you may have had a couple of problems. The gas smell concerns me though. If an igniter is weak, you shouldn't get any gas flow in the oven. This is a designed safety feature that prevents free flowing gas from filling up the oven cavity without ignition. I would recommend checking your igniter for the proper current and/or replace. The link I provided, lists the steps required. If you have any questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

Fridgedaire stove fgf337ebd f10 code

It is the board that has the digital clock. You may also have a key/membrane pad that is separate but connected to it with a ribbon cable. This connection is many times the source of the problem. The conector is sensitive to being loose and oxidation. Many times you can wiggle/clean and/or make sure the connection is good and it will clear up the error code. (Do All this with the Unit Unplugged), If that doesnt work than it would seem you have a defective ERC board,...Electronic Range Control. When you replace the board you should also replace the membrane/touchpad associated with it. This is what most brands/repair centers suggested

Where to find regulator valve??

Just because an igniter is glowing does not necessarily mean it is good. Click on the following link for some helpful advice on how to determine if the igniter is working properly:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r401858-replacing_oven_igniter_gas_range

Now...if you still suspect a gas regulator problem, it is usually located in the back of the range near the bottom. Following the gas lines form the oven manifolds will help you. You may have to remove the back panel or remove the bottom drawer to access. CAUTION: Use care if you have to move the range that you don't stress the gas lines. This can cause gas leaks. On the side of the regulator or gas safety valve is a gas safety switch. Sometimes this switch gets turned off when moving the range. There should be printed instructions on the valve showing what position the switch should be in.

I hope this helps you. If you need further assistance, please let me know.

Frigidaire gas range FGF337

The Frigidaire units have a shutoff valve on the regulator that has to be flipped up so the oven will get gas.
