Question about Fellowes Cordless Optical Keyboard/Mouse 99666

1 Answer

Wireless Keyboard isn't connecting at all with computer

I got a Fellowes wireless keyboard a few months ago, and it's worked great since I got it. The batteries died yesterday, and when I went to replace them, the keyboard stopped working. I tried pressing the green button on the bottom, and after a few tries I got it to work. But then I accidentally let the batteries fall out. Since then, I can't get it to work anymore. I've tried that green button again and again, but it won't do anything. Please help!

It turned out that the little metal spring that holds the batteries in was bent. It was so slight, you couldn't even tell, but the batteries weren't actually touching. So I just bent the spring back into shape, and now it works perfectly fine.

You have to download the software from Logitech.com and install it. The software will help you encrypt a connection and make it start working again. The software will prompt you to type in a set of numbers and the connection will be there again. Don't worry... your mouse and keyboard2.gif are not broken. This happens quite frequently.

This should be the link you need to find the software for your keyboard

My optical mouse is working but not my keyboard

If all of the keys on your keyboard is not responding, then there's no connection between the keyboard and the wireless receiver.

1. Change the battery of the keyboard.
2. Make sure that the keyboard is ON.
3. Try connecting the wireless receiver into other USB ports of the computer. If same problem occurs...
4. Connect the wireless receiver into another computer to make sure that the problem is the keyboard and not the USB ports of the computer.

Otherwise, you may contact the manufacturer of the keyboard to verify if there's an additional driver that you need to install or if the keyboard needs repair.

Have a great day!

Dell Wireless Keyboard stopped responding, please help.

The keyboard should have a button underneath it. Press the button on the usb controller first and then the button on the keyboard. Repeat a few times to see if it connects. If you are still having trouble try another set of batteries as some batteries are not designed for wireless products.

Computer not recognizing Keyboard, only Mouse

I'm having the same problem. Mouse works great but the keyboard doesn't. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software at least twice via remote desktop- done a hard reboot on the hardware (it's a Logitec wireless keyboard) - I've even tried installing it on another computer and the keyboard and mouse both work great! I just can't get it to work on my computer. The curious thing is that the side buttons (like sleep work) but it won't Ctrl Alt Del so I can login - what am I doing wrong? Are there settings that need to be changed?
