I need the product key of my window vista,, for activation

If you bought the computer with Vista pre-installed, check the "official" Microsoft decal, either on the bottom of the laptop, or on the side-panel of the case of the desktop computer.

If you bought Vista at a retail store (or it was shipped to you by the manufacturer of your computer, as a "free upgrade"), then check the packaging -- the license-key was included with the materials.

Hi Name is Joe.

Resolution

Installing on a Windows Vista computer

Creator 2010 requires a minimum of Windows Vista Service Pack 1 for installation. You can either perform a Windows Update (recommended) or install Service Pack 1 for Vista here.

Installing on a Windows 7 computer

The issue might be caused by the Creator 2010 setup package running in Windows Vista compatibility mode on Windows 7. Please use the following steps to turn off Vista compatibility mode for the Creator 2010 setup package:
  1. Right-click on the setup package and choose Properties.

  2. Click on the Compatibility tab in the Properties window.

  3. In the Compatibility mode section, uncheck the box that is labeled Run the program in compatibility mode for Windows Vista.

  4. Click OK to save the changes.

  5. Re-run Creator 2010 the setup package.

BJC -85 Setup Software wil not download to Vista...not compatable.....What can be done to se the Printer/Scanner on my computer with Vista.

As the link (http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=OSCompatibilitySupportAct&keycode=vistadr&fcategoryid=230&modelid=6620) in Mike's solution states, "Driver included with OS. Download not required.", i.e. Vista comes with a driver for the BJC-85 so you don't need to download one. I've just connected my BJC-85 to my new Vista machine and the printer was detected and drivers loaded automatically.

Put the USB stick in your USB port and wait a few seconds.

When there comes a popup choose folder view.

When not open your explorer and surf to the folder of your USB drive.

look for the installation folder.

You'll see a file named setup or install..
Stay on that with your mouse pointer and click right a menu popup.

Choose properties and choose compatibility here you can choose vista SP1, vista SP2
XP SP3.

when its done run the setup this will work to install the drivers and the aplication software.

I hope this will help.
