hello,it's either it's not compatible or the bluetooth headset is bad,so all you need to do is just to get a new one to replace the one with the bad speaker.and also check if the bluetooth headset is well paired so as not to be confused about doubting it having a bad speaker,
please kindly rate this solution if it's helpful,

take care.

Passcode

The Motorola H700 has Bluetooth v1.2 which is backward compatible with v1.1. The headset works with both Hands-free and Headset profiles and is easy to pair with devices running various operating systems and software. We tested the headset with the Motorola SLVR, Palm Treo 650, the Nokia 9500, the Cingular 8125 and the Cingular 2125, and the headset paired with all devices with ease. To pair the Motorola, turn off the headset first then hold the Call button until the LED ring turns purple, quickly open the boom so that the LED stays solid purple, the headset is now in pairing mode. Use your mobile phone to discover and pair with the headset using “0000” as the default pass code. Call handling between the phone and the headset transferred smoothly and the headset will play notification or a ring tone when a call comes in. When working with the Treo 650, the H700 has an uncomfortably long delay in notifying an incoming call. It starts to ring after the Treo 650 has already ringed 2-3 times. The connection between the phone and the headset is solid. When we paired the Treo 650 to both the Motorola H700 and the Parrot 322 car kit, we can pick up calls on either one and the Motorola H700 worked reliably in this set up.

Hope I helped Dr Reed

I purchased a aliph jawbone 2 from all4cellular.com for $69.95 and it won't pair up with my treo 755p. It's not my phone because I can pair up with my wifes Motorola headset. I even tried my coworkers...

Palm Treo 755p
To pair the Palm Treo 755p handset with the Jawbone, perform the steps listed below:
  1. Set the Jawbone to Pairing Mode.
    • For the Original Jawbone, press and hold down the Noise Shield button for at least three seconds until the LED Indicator Light flashes red.
    • For the New Jawbone, press and hold down both the NoiseAssassin™ Button and the Talk Button for at least three seconds until the LED Indicator Light flashes red and white alternately.
  2. Press Applications and select Bluetooth.
  3. Select Bluetooth On.
  4. Select Setup Devices.
  5. Select Trusted Devices.
  6. Select Add Device. (The Discovery icon appears, indicating that the discovery process is active.)
  7. Select the Show pick list and select Nearby devices.
  8. Select Jawbone from the Discovery Results list, and then select OK.
  9. Enter the PIN "0000" (be sure you are entering four zeroes and not the letter "O".) and select OK.
  10. Select Done, and then select Done again to return to the Bluetooth screen.
Your phone should now be paired with the Jawbone.

I have a Mac laptop, a Palm Treo Wx and am now using a Motorola H700. I need to know how to sync my H700 with my Treo so I can dial via my headset and not need to use the actual cell phone. It has now...

Hi, i'm not sure what the Mac has to do with your Headset. You can register your blue tooth headset with any device that supports bluetooth. In fact, you can use your headset with multiple devices. Even your Mac can use bluetooth to connect to a headset (if you have bluetooth turned on, and not all Macs have factory bluetooth).

To 'register' your headset with the Treo is a two step process.
on the Treo, make sure bluetooth connectivity is turned on, then you should have a menu that allows you to find/enroll a new bluetooth device. Before you tell it to find a bluetooth device, turn on your headset. Now tell the Treo to search for devices. If it doesn't find your headset, then press and hold the button on the side and it will send out signals that your Treo will see. The Treo might give you a password code and ask you to confirm this is the device you want to synch to. Usually '0000', but in any case say yes, so long nobody else is around trying to do the same thing you are within 30'.
That should do it.
I don't think the Treo has voice recognition, which makes dialing on my Nokia a breeze, for true hands-free operation, nothing beats it.
Also note, the Treo has been know to have issues loosing bluetooth connectivity with the headset and not reconnecting with a re-boot.
so long you keep the two devices near each other, this shouldn't be a problem.

It's paired up with treo, but when treo rings, the headset will not work.

there are known compatability issues with palm treo and blackberry phones when trying to use this type of headset .

I recomend a Plantronics brand headset with your phone.
