Candy CDI 45 E4 Code - Problem Solved!

Solved it!! Make sure all water is pumped out of the machine. Switch it off at the wall and unplug. Tilt the machine forward (put a towel down first!) all the way till the door is on the floor, and let the rest of the water run out. Return upright, switch back on and Wahlah! it should work as normal. . . well ours did. Hope this helps

Constant beeping when switched on.E4 on programme

E4 would suggest a leak or spillage of water into the base of the appliance.- Unplug the appliance.
- Put some towels around the rear of it and tip it rearward about 45 degrees.
- Drain the water out of the base at the rear corners.

Once drained, try the machine again. If it fails very quickly then it would suggest a leak and you would need to drain it again, take the panels off and watch it working to locate the source of the leak. Cure the leak to stop the fault.

Hope this helps.

My candy dishwasher is CDI505-S,and the problem is that in the coutdown button appeared E4 and the machine doesn'run, please what can I do......

It is most likely that there is flooding in the dishwasher due to water leakage.

This information thread from another model might be helpful in solving the problems.

Good Luck.

Error code E4 is on our display of our KDW243A dishwasher - what does this mean please?

Error code E4 means there is an overflow. Water is probably trapped. If you get error code E4, just tilt the machine back about 45 degrees and let the water drain out. It should come out on both sides. Then, you should be good to go.

I have a Candy dishwasher. Door is open switch on sounds like something (possibly pump) is running and error E4 shown on diaplay. Any ideas please?

Overflow tray (bottom dishwasher). Tilt your dishwasher, pour water and see the reason for the overflow. I blew off the top hose from the pump.

Candy dishwasher 2 program lights keep flashing after program starts then stopas and flashing starts

My candy dishwasher Model No CDI 3015-S retains water in the bottom of the machine at the end of the program. I have checked the filter which is clear so do not know what else to do to clear the problem. Anyone faced this problem or know what might be the cause?

Candy cdi 1012 dishwasher

Did anyone ever manage to work out what the cause of this was? Our dishwasher is exactly the same. We had it fixed once under warranty and it lasted about a year before breaking again. Unfortunately we never asked what work was done during the first repair. Thanks. Stuart

I have a kenwood KDW12SL3A. The Drain got blocked at the dishwasher end, and I have now unblocked and tested the drainage but have still got an E4 error come up. how do I reset this?

Just got one of those at weekend and had e4 code-looked up on here and gor tis solutionwhich sems to work!

To clear the fault you need to remove the two baskets from the dishwasher.

Slide it out from under the worktop and lean it forward to about 45 degrees.

If it is already full of water, turn on the power whilst pushing the programme button, this sets up a pump out program
