The LCD is showing "Replace Fusing Unit", which we have done. After that the instructions say to hold down the Escape key for 5 seconds, then enter the Maintenance menu to reset the counter for the Fusing Unit, but this printer will never clear the "Replace Fusing Unit" message so that I can access the Maintenance Menu.
Is it possible to do some sort of hard reset on this printer?
On the Ricoh 3713 you can do it on the main board by putting dip switch 101-1 on and then off, entering
97, and pressing the aps key. Then power cycling the printer.
The 3500 is probably similar.
