Flip the unit ove on the bottom you will see a two covers. the one cloest to you headphone jacks is the one you want.
use a small philps screwdriver to remove the cover.
there is one 512MB 400MHz DDR2-400, PC2-3200, 200p SODIMM, 1.8v, CL=3, 64Megx64 memory unit from the factory if you are just upgrading to 1GB the buy a 2nd SODIMM and put it in the slot that is hiden behind the cover and reinstall the cover and restart the unit and enjoy. BUT if you want more than 1 GB I would pull the 612 and install 1 2gb or 2 1gb SODIMM uints.
