Question about HP Color LaserJet 2600n Printer
It prints the other colors fine but it wont print red. Is it worth having fixed or is it something I could fix

Do exactly as the step by step procedure tells you. It is spot on.
Once you get down to the mirrors etc - use a cotton bud to clean the lense and mirrors. I had a very poor print before I cleaned them. Red had just about gone. Now its back as new. Its worth the effort.

This can happen if the laser scanner window gets toner on it most common on the magenta window as its the lowest
solution strip printer remove laser scanner unit and clean the lenses mirrors and windows
not a quick easy and simple solution but it works
only alternative is to replace printer

Clean the magenter toner cartridge contacts in the printer with a dry cloth, this may help.
