From both memory of driving one last year, and after consulting pages 4:11 and 4:16the owners' handbook (free download here), it seems that you may be confusing the brake warning light with what you have reported seeing. To the best of my recollection there is no symbol exactly like the one you describe and there isn't one in the handbook.
If it is the brake warning light then your brakes need attention as soon as possible. After two years of use, it's very likely that the front brake pads are now worn and need replacement, but it's impossible to be certain without having the car inspected.
If the pads are worn and if you have replaced brake pads before then it's a fairly simple job, if not then get it done by someone experienced this time and watch them do it or take a course in basic car maintenance so you can do the job yourself in future. Note that brake discs (US=brake rotors) are also consumable items and usually need changing with every second set of pads, but they can last longer for drivers who drive gently. There's a little extra work involved but it's still relatively easy.
