I would like to know where I can take my bissell proheat to have it clean and gone over as it doesn't **** up the dirty water like it used to. I don't want to have to drive a 100 miles to have it fix, as I am elderly.

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
You may want to call Bissell to get a vac dealer in your area to service your Bissell and some of the vac dealers offer pickup and delivery @ a reasonable cost and they will do the service on your Bissell. Not knowing where you are writing from call the phone #’s listed below and they should be able to further assist you. Or you may have to ship your vacuum to the factory or a local vac dealer to service your unit. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.
