your newly installed cartrige which is the colored one is not detected or mybe damage....may i ask if how many times did you refill already your cartrige?refilling a cartrige can cause damage to its circuit i suggest purchase a new colored cartrige and see if it works.
Gill: I have the same problem as Sheillz (Sept.15, 2009)
I
have installed a color ink printer and both black and color lights of cartriges
are still blinking and I cannot print anything at all. Not even a test
page.
Was this the problem prior to changine the cartriages? If not check the contacts between the machine and the cartriges. there may be tape, ink, papaer in between.
I can only suggest that you should use genuine HP ink carts. Try all new carts and realign again. Hopefully it is under warranty. HP is good at exchanging.
Exactly same problem: spray of blue & yellow
