Warning light (red)
If the temperature warning light (4) lights up, it
indicates that the temperature within the freezer has
reached a level where the safe food storage is no
longer ensured. When the freezer is first switched on, the warning light will stay on until the temperature has dropped to
a safe level for the storage of frozen food.
Temperature acoustic alarm
This appliance incorporates an alarm which gives off
an audible signal whenever the warning light comes
on. This signal can be temporarily stopped by
depressing the push button for fast-freezing (6).
The fast-freezing push button can be released as
soon as the warning light is off.
Open door acoustic alarm
This appliance also incorporates an alarm which
sounds if the door is left open for more than 60
seconds. The signal will be stopped when the door is
closed again.
This type of audio feedback loop can happen on any mic if you are playing back audio at a loud volume on speakers that are close to the mic while the mic is on - which tends to happen on Skype calls. Try lowering your speaker volume or using headphones to hear the audio, then speak into mic, and the feedback should be reduced.
Hi just read your posting. What you need to do is to get a pointy small knife and put it between the door and frame and move it till you stop at the internal latch. Now lever the latch up and pull the door open. The part you need to change is the t shaped plastic rod. Please turn off the power before you undo the screws to change the plastic rod. Please reply for further help or information.Looking forward to your reply.
Hi just read your posting,I know these machines well. When you purchase the new panel you get the membrane or touch buttons and the rest of the components eg---control board, door handle--etc--- you must take off your old panel and refit them to the new panel. Before you attempt this job unplug the power point first. If you require additional help please reply and I can guide you throe the refitting of the panel.Looking forward to your reply.
If your 500E is the same as my 500E then the controls are electronic touch buttons. The are part of a self adhesive strip and stuck to the front of the door. No screws involved. Only the LED lights are mounted on a circuit board with screws on the back of the plastic front panel.
?????
Probably fatigued wiring from the chassis to the door where it bends every time you open and close the door. On my 500E, I took the sheet metal door skin off and found a couple of burned spots on the wires inside a clear plastic strain relief.
Firstly correct model would help,500E is only the series; but from what you describe a number of faults could prevail: "1" the breather on the air dome could be blocked. "2" faulty pressure switch."3" faulty restrictor in p/switch tube:All these potential problems are not easily rectified by unskilled persons and you could make things a lot worse, which would be a shame as the 500E is an excellent machine(one of the best ever built) To rectify these problems is difficult enough even for a professional technician like myself.
