Slow response when you turn the TV on with remote, there is a delayed response before it actually comes on. Is this a problem or something in the settings?

I think that is typical of most brands of lcd tv's. Mine does the same, both on and off. You'll notice a message, "power off" on the screen when you turn it off.

When you say it scans slower, do you mean when you press a button on the remote the response is delayed before the screen responds? Is this on TV 1 or TV 2? Do you have 2 new remotes? If it's TV 2, you can check to see if the antenna on the back of the receiver is screwed in tightly and is in an upright position. If it is TV 1, check to make sure nothing is blocking the sensors on the front of the receiver. If the problem persist, please let us know so we can troubleshoot for you. I hope this helps.

I want to use a wireless remote with my Nikon D80 but I can't remember what I need to do to use it

Set the release mode to one of the remote modes. The quick-response remote mode fires the shutter when you press the button on the remote. The delayed remote mode gives you two seconds to hide the remote behind your back before firing the shutter.

To set the release mode, press and hold the release mode button (overlapping rectangles) and turn the main command dial on the back of the camera. The quick-response remote mode is denoted by the icon of the remote control. The delayed remote mode display both the remote icon and the one-handed clock icon.

How to use nikon ML-L3

Set the camera's shooting mode to one of the remote modes. Quick-response remote fires the shutter when you press the button on the remote. Delayed remote gives you two seconds to hide the remote behind your back before firing the shutter.

To set the D90's shooting mode, press the shooting mode button (the overlapping rectangles to the right of the LCD panel on the top of the body) and turn the main command wheel on the back. Quick-response remote shows a picture of the remote control unit, the delayed remote shows that and the clock (the same symbol used for the self-timer).

The remote mode is cleared whenever the camera is turned off. Since monitoring the infrared port consumes battery power, the camera may turn itself off before you take a shot. To prevent this, change custom setting #C5 to something more appropriate.

Need help using the wireless cable release

I assume you're refering to the ML-L3 wireless remote control.

Change the shooting mode on the camera by holding down the shooting mode button and turning the main command dial. You want either delayed remote or quick-response remote. The quick-response remote fires the shutter as soon as you press the button on the remote, the delayed remote gives you two seconds to hide your hand behind your back before the camera fires.

New ML-L3 remote light doesn't shine

It's an infrared light (like on the remote control for your TV) and you shouldn't be able to see it.

Set the camera's shooting mode to one of the two remote modes. Quick-response remote takes a picture as soon as you push the button on the remote. Delayed-response remote waits two seconds so you can hide the remote behind your back.

Why isn't my remote firing my camera?

Do you have the shooting mode set to one of the remote modes? If you don't, the camera will completely ignore the ML-L3 remote.

Press the shooting mode button and turn the command dial to either the Quick-response remote or Delayed remote mode. The Quick-response mode fires the camera as soon as you press the button on the remote. The Delayed mode gives you two seconds to hide the remote behind your back before the camera fires.

your turning section is not responding to any input, hence needs to be checked by a technician. every thing you have mentioned are controlled by one ic, with its respective voltages.
