Question about Sharp PC AX40 Notebook
i left the laptop copying files to an external USB disk, and when i came back it had frozen, so i restarted it.Since then, the laptop refuses to turn on. The power led is on showing that it has power, but when i try to turn it on, i hear a small noise from the speaker and nothing happens. When i press the reset button underneath all green leds on top right corner tun on and still nothing happens. Any help on that? Did the motherboard died? or could it be something simpler?

You can try reseating the memory and the hard drive if you can get to it, but it sure sounds as though the motherboard is shot.
You can take it to your local computer repair shop.
