Hi, wonder if you could help

wonder if you could help me.... i bought a samsung digimax s700 camera about 12-18months ago - unfortunatly dont have the reciept and now im having major problems woth it... it is showing that the battery is low and turning itself off (sometimes the lens doesnt even go in) even though the batteries are new. also its showing he image of what I want to photograph but then when i hit the button to take the picture its just turning itself off again. Ive really looked after the camera, its always in its case and i know its not been damaged in any way ... please can you help? ive spent a lot of money on this camera and had to save for ages to get it, and I love it! I just cant afford to go out and buy another. I use it quite a lot so need to get it working asap.... even the box and instructions are immaculate !
