FRIDGE DOES NOT KEEP COLD AND FREEZER OVER FREEZES? NOT FIND THE MANUAL PLEASE HELP. THERMASTAT? WHERE IS IT? WANNABEHERD@OUTLOOK.COM

Don't understand 'over freezes'. If, by that, you mean that frost is forming on the walls and/or bottom of the freezer section while the refrigerated section does not maintain temperature, odds are that your fan in the freezer is not spinning. This is usually caused by one or more of three different things: 1) motor failed 2) defrost heater/safety/clock failed or 3) drain from freezer is plugged and ice is building up over the fan.

We have a e381t model refridgerator/freezer. there is a rattle/scraping noises coming from the fan in the freezer part. There is ice behind the protective sheet that separate the fan from the main area. Is...

If there is noise of the fan rubbing with the frost build up on the freezer then it is confirmed that the defrost timer is faulty. Now shut off the fridge and leave it powered off while you clean and check the evaporator for frost.
Earlier make sure that the thermostat was set to normal mode for freezer and fridge. However if ice forms in the freezer then observe the fridge for about 24 hours for cooling to continue and the fridge to cut off . If not the auto defrost timer, or the thermostat must be checked. Frost formation without defrosting could block the air flow and so shut the air passage to the fridge. Also the blower fan must work and if this is not working then the fan can be faulty. Also a fault on the control unit is a suspect to non functioning of any one of these components.
If defrost timer works but frost keeps forming check while the compressor shuts if the heaters are working, check continuity of the heaters.
So try this test using a multi-meter on the defrost timer and the thermostat and make your observations so that we come to the solution.

WATER SPLASHING IN FREEZER AT ICEMAKER
THE FILL TUBE IN BACK OF REFRIGERATOR CAN SLIP
AGAINST THE FILL RESERVOIR CAUSING A PARTIAL BLOCKAGE
OR BECOME CLOGGED WITH ICE.
REMOVE THE ICEMAKER AND INSPECT THE FILL TUBE.
RUN WATER IN TUBE TO ELININATE BLOCKAGE AND CHECK
TEMP IN FREEZER. IF TEMP IS BELOW 0 DEGREES, THATS
OVERKILL AND USUALLY A WASTE OF ELECTRICITY TO KEEP IT THAT COLD, NOT TO MENTION THE FILL TUBE FREEZING UP

Hey there, I have a Westpoint NOFROST De Luxe Tropical frige, model # WRK 297.1. The freezer section is forming ice and the circulation fan is making alot of noise due to ice being formed behind the back...

I believe your problem is the defroster circuit . There are only three components on most refrigerators unless you have something real special . Kidding . They are as follows : defrost timer , heating element , and defrost cut out switch . The defrost timer cycles the refrigerator out of normal operation and into defrost mode once every six to eight hours depending on the unit . When in this mode everything shuts off , compressor , circulation fan , and condenser fan is so equipped . To eliminate the circulation fan , you'll have to keep an eye on your refrigerator checking in every half hour or so for six hours to eight hours and see if it stops working . If it does , then we know the timer is working correctly and the problem will be the heating element or cutout switch . The heating element is checked with an ohm meter. Usually they burn out when they go bad and you will read infinite resistance. The defrost cutout switch should read 0-1 ohms when the freezer temperature is 40° F or lower. If the heating element checks good , in other words it shows to have resistance usually between 30 and 100 ohms, replace the cutout switch . If the circulation fan never shuts off and the unit continues to run without shutting down after a six or eight hour Time cycle , replace the defrost timer . Good luck

Ice melting and frost forming on freezer side, funny sound coming from freezer side. No condensation in back of fridge. Help for a new home owner.

check that your flapper on the ice shut through the freezer door is fully closed,
make sure there is no ice forming around your evaporator fan, thats the fan in the freezer, if that gets glogged with ice and is forced to stop, it could blow your entire machine control......
the frost in the freezer leads me to believe you may have a defrost issue

The fridge part of the fridge freezer has a coating of ice forming at the back and it feels warm behind bottom right veggie tray

Sounds like the freezer/refrigerator circulating fan is starting to wear out, When the motor for this fan starts to wear out it does not supply enough circulation for the freezer and the refrigerator. The minimum cost to repair/replace this fan is around $300.00. The immediate solution is to unplug you unit for about four hours allowing the ice that has formed around this fan to melt. Or use a hair dryer to melt the ice, but be very careful not to melt the plastic.
