Question about Acer TravelMate 4072WLMi Notebook
Having recently purchased an acer travelmate 4074 pentium M 2mhz , 1 gig ddram 100 gig hard drive and dvd burner, i have found that only one of the speakers is working, i have had a look through the settings, and i cant see anything, but am not 100% i have not missed a setting. I am wondering if there is a common problem with this model, and if it is a hardware / software or setting problem, i have sent an email to acer but still awaiting a reply.
Any assistance would be very appreciated
Check the balance settings in the Volume Properties. At the bottom right of the screen you should see a Volume icon. Right click and select 'adjust volume properties'. In the box that shows up, adjust the slider bar to middle under the 'Balance' column.
If that does not work, then there could be a defect with the internal speakers. Since you only just bought the laptop, you should be able to get it replaced under warranty.
