I have a kenmore 70 series gas dryer. It won't

Check the thermal fuse and thermostats first, then the ignitor and the valve coils are the next possibilities.

Kenmore 70 Series

The most likely cause is a bad ignitor part number 279311. It has to glow to open the valve and ignite the gas. You should hear a loud click when you first start the dryer. That tells us there is voltage to the gas valve.

do you get any heat at all? is the drum turning? if yes and yes you need to check the dryer hose all wall hole to see if it is clogged, clean both out and see if this helps,if no heat the main heater fuse might be bad, check that also, hope this helps you-mike
