It make's a big difference when the dashes are in the correct place. Asus P5B-MX/WiFi-AP. Please update you're bios to the most current. Click the link below, which will take you to Asus site for you're P5B-MX/WiFi-AP board. Download the BIOS-Utilities & the latest Bios file. Follow the instruction from within utilities to create a flash program for a floppy disk.
http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?modelname=P5B-MX/WIFI-AP&SLanguage=en-us

If you feel you do not want to flash you're bios, you can go to Asus online store & buy the latest bios chip & replace you're old chip. http://estore.asus.com/shop/
Either will fix the error.

Good luck!
Mike

Error: "Intel CPU uCode Loading Error" - "Press F1

This could have been a RAM issue or a BIOS issue. Check your RAM first and reset your CMOS. If possible upgrade your BIOS version from the manufacturers website. but be very careful if you do so. a wrong move may spoil your Board completely.

I REPLACED MY MOTHER BOARD WITH ASUS P5PE-VM. WHEN TURNING ON THE UNIT, INTEL CPU CODE ERROR APPEARS.

It just means that the bios is older than the cpu so it can't identify it (read its ID code). It shouldn't be a problem and a bios update will fix it (eventually).

But then, your computer will running good even the error appears. just set ur bios and the disable the press F1 for the error..

My unit was replaced by asus mother board P5PE-vm and there is an error message, intel cpu uCode loading error. how do i get rid of this error? it is pissed seeing this error

If you don't ask Asus will not do it for you.
You can either call Asus and ask for an updated bios, (they charge about $6.00 not including shipping) or you can update the bios you're self. Everything you need to flash the bios is on their web site;
http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=k3h0ZFVu9Lo1dUvk&content=download
The last three bios updates are for support new CPUs.

Everytime i start my pc there is always an error say cpu ucode error f1 to resume

You need an other BIOS driver.
Intel
P6 and NetBurst micro-architecture microprocessors may contain design
defects or errors known as errata that may cause the product to deviate from
published specifications. Many times, the effects of the errata can be
avoided by implementing hardware or software work-arounds. Errata and work-
arounds are documented in the appropriate processor specification update,
which can be found at www.intel.com. Intel P6 and NetBurst micro-
architecture microprocessors include a feature called "reprogrammable
microcode"
, which allows certain types of errata to be worked around via
microcode updates. The microcode updates reside in the system BIOS and are
loaded into the processor by the system BIOS during Power-On Self Test, or
POST.

You can upgrade your bios, you just need to visit the motherboard manufacturer site where you can download the latest bios.

http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=11&l3=0&model=1276&modelmenu=1

You can also try to reset the bios first, you can reset it to default settings and if that will not work then you can upgrade the bios.

http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us&model=P5PE-VM

and you can also check this site regarding bios upgrade

Start up problem/error

Can you get to the desktop? If so you need to update the drivers for the chip on the motherboard. Once you do this see if this corrects the problem. This is a known item if not please respond back to me.

The bios needs to load a patch table that supports your processor. Go to the ASUS website and ensure that processor capatibility with your MB, and if there is a BIOS update for it.
