Re: intel upu ucode loading error
It make's a big difference when the dashes are in the correct place. Asus P5B-MX/WiFi-AP. Please update you're bios to the most current. Click the link below, which will take you to Asus site for you're P5B-MX/WiFi-AP board. Download the BIOS-Utilities & the latest Bios file. Follow the instruction from within utilities to create a flash program for a floppy disk. http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?modelname=P5B-MX/WIFI-AP&SLanguage=en-us
If you feel you do not want to flash you're bios, you can go to Asus online store & buy the latest bios chip & replace you're old chip. http://estore.asus.com/shop/ Either will fix the error.

This could have been a RAM issue or a BIOS issue. Check your RAM first and reset your CMOS. If possible upgrade your BIOS version from the manufacturers website. but be very careful if you do so. a wrong move may spoil your Board completely.
If you don't ask Asus will not do it for you.
You can either call Asus and ask for an updated bios, (they charge about $6.00 not including shipping) or you can update the bios you're self. Everything you need to flash the bios is on their web site; http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=k3h0ZFVu9Lo1dUvk&content=download
The last three bios updates are for support new CPUs.
You need an other BIOS driver. Can you get to the desktop? If so you need to update the drivers for the chip on the motherboard. Once you do this see if this corrects the problem. This is a known item if not please respond back to me.
