Question about Ulead Videostudio 8 for PC
I have the video capture cable devise.
When i want to install the driver, i get a notice to upgrade to Service pack 2.. i have service pack 3 and i dont understand what should i do?
Awesome Job must have taken you some time to figure it out. I spend hours at this stuff but for this issue only minutes cause all I had to do was search. TYVM! Still may take time to find the right file out of the driver folder but there is only four files there. Try them all it definitly worked for me.

I had this same problem, this is what worked for me, very simple really. DON'T use the autorun feature of the CD hence DON'T use the "install driver" of the autorun program. Instead just put the CD in your Drive & don't run it (close it down if the browser does come up). Then insert the EasyCap USB into your USB port & wait a minute or so & let Windows XP SP3 detect the USB device. Then when the Windows wizard comes up to locate Drivers, select "Not at this time" (for the let windows update find option), next, select "install from a list or specific location", next, select your CD drive. When the warning box comes up about not passing the windows logo testing, select "Continue Anyway". After Found New Hardware is completed click "Finish" & your drivers will be installed. You can confirm this in the Sound, video & game controllers section of the Device Manager. It will show Easycap Video Grabber WITHOUT a yellow exclamation symbol next to it. All should be fine.
