Hotpoint, Creda and Indesit error code definitions
or Hotpoint WMA / WM workshop
manuals
Fo5 indicates pressure switch jammed on full.
To rectify the problem, do the following.
Remove lower rear panel of washer.
Remove large black hose from bottom of drum
Remove and clean plastic filter inside hose.
Remove hose from pump, and check for blockage or obstruction here as well .
Please rate my solution.
Thankyou.
f05 is normally a fault cause by the pressure switch - often caused by a blockage in the exit hose of the washer. if the water cannot leave the washer in time the f05 will come up because the pressure switch has not told the machine it empty. on hotpoints there is a filter inside the exit pipe from the drum to the pump which gets blocked up. need to remove and clear out the sump assembly and this normally fixes the f05 error. if this does not cure the issue then the pressure switch is probably faulty but its notmally just a blocked pipe.
Hi there usually the FO5 Problem is pump draining problem, check the U Bend under your sink for blockages also the outlet pipe for blockages, you may even need to take of the front lower panel and you should find a small pipe and you can clear and drain water from that also and clear of any bits. hope this helps
Error code F05 is indicating that the water level switch is stuck on full, this is probably due to a blocked filter..
To clean filter, proceed as follows.
Remove lower panel at rear of washer.
Locate and remove the large black hose fastened to the bottom of the tub.
Drain the water from hose into a container of some sort.
Remove plastic filter inside hose, and clean same.
Refit filter and hose, making sure it is securely fastened back on.
This should solve the prob.
Pleas rate my fixya solution.
Thanks.
